SUMMARY:GI 2026 Bank Holiday Weekender: Havocs
DESCRIPTION:We’re back at the awesome Great Westwood Equestrian Centre for 2026!!!\nTickets are for the full weekend and are £85 – Secure a space on your chosen faction with a £45 non-refundable deposit below. \nSome teams sell out fast\, (especially Purple) so make sure you book early if you want to play on the same team as your friend. \nBattlefield Europa: Havocs – The Details\nIt’s been 7 years since the war in Europa escalated with the interests of a third faction\, the Ardennes is now utterly decimated and poisoned with chemical and biological weapons.A new front has opened in the untouched eastern regions of Asia\, new objectives and new technology including the new Atlas Havoc suits.All three factions have bought the Tech from the warmonger\, John Atlas\, also known as the Lord of War. \nAll three factions are still harvesting supplies and weapons to sustain their war effort but victory or peace seams a long way away. \nAs well as CPs\, collection of supplies and control of the warzone\, all three factions still need to complete harvesting objectives. \nWe will be using the Stalker tech from our epic Stalkers game but also we be looking for around 10 crew to join the field to play roles through out the day. \nWe will also be looking for 2 commanders for each team\, all command radios will be provided by us and only the channels we are using can be used. \nSite will be open from 1pm Friday and we will have a full bar on site and catering onsite. \nWe have limited this to only 90 tickets\, 30 a side to keep the game tight and fun. Quality over Quantity! \nRecon – Quad bikes will be back \nThis game works for all levels of players and features elements from skirmish\, FilmSim and Milsim all in one weekend. \nPlayers aged 12 and above are welcome\, normal rules apply for under 18s during gameplay (don’t forget to bring a completed consent form) – under 18s are welcome to stay overnight if accompanied by a supervising adult to take responsibility for their safety and welfare. Children aged under 12 are allowed in the camping/admin field (including overnight) but MUST be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. \nGeneral rules etc will be similar to those at our FilmSim open days\, the full rules will be read out at the safety briefing on Saturday morning – please ensure you listen to these as there will be some differences due to the unique nature of this event. \nTeam ID\, uniforms\, and loadouts\nThis is a fairly unique game\, with three main teams of players\, as well as crew taking on various roles within the game zone. \nThe three teams are competing factions who are proud to display their team colours. Think of it like L.A. Gangstas: if you are on the red team\, you wouldn’t be seen dead in a blue shirt. You would proudly display your red necktie\, bandana\, or shirt at all times however. \nAs long as you are clearly identifiable by team colour\, you can wear just about what you like. This also applies to ghillie suit wearers – make sure your team colour is clearly visible on your arm\, head\, or neck at all times. Use your fieldcraft skills well enough and a purple armband won’t matter… \nThere are restrictions on the type and quantity of weapons which you can deploy with at any time\, as well as how much ammo you can carry loaded in magazines. This is what decides your class\, and dictates what type of role you will play and the objectives you are able to tackle. \nSoldier classes work in a similar manner to online games like CoD and Battlefield. You can change your class at any point by returning to HQ and swapping your loadout. This allows maximum flexibility for all players without encountering an objective defended by “that guy” with a minigun\, LMG\, sniper rifle\, assault rifle\, SMG\, pistol\, shotgun\, grenade launcher\, and a huge bag of ammo for them all – BORING!!!. Throw enough people at an objective and eventually they’ll run out of ammo or soldiers. \nSome objectives can only be completed by a specific class. Some are best tackled by a mixed fireteam with general grunts supporting specialists. \nClasses are mostly based on those used on our Filmsim open days. More details available on request.
