DESCRIPTION:The Drop\n  \nThe year is 2042 after years of wars\, poverty and plague the world’s most powerful nations formed a unified government known as Olympus. \n\nWith the resources of the earth being much depleted or destroyed\, Olympus looked back to the old ways of earth to sooth the globe’s anger and restlessness by doing the same as what the rulers of Rome did\, they designed a Game that would control the mob and put their focus not on the people that sat at the high tables of Olympus but at the blood\, spectacle and rewards offered by The Drop. \n\nSupply pods descend into designated conflict zones. Inside: rations\, medicine\, advanced tech\, fuel cells\, credits. \n  \nEvery Drop is guarded by an autonomous war construct: \nATLAS. \n  \nTeams fight for control. Olympus broadcasts it live. \nWin and your people are sponsored. \nLose and you are forgotten. \nThe Objective\nTo successfully claim and secure more drops than the other teams during the game time\, but be careful some drops are more valuable than others.\n\nSecure more Drop Points (DP) than opposing teams before the final whistle. \nDrop Values:\n\nStandard Drop = 1 DP \nRare Drop = 3 DP \nLegendary Drop = 5 DP \nFinal Sudden Drop = 8 DP \n\nWinning Team: Highest total DP at event end. \nThe Blood\nNo one said it was going to be easy to collect these Drops. Each drop is guarded by an Olympus Atlas\, an unkillable robot designed by the greatest minds. They guard the drop until it is claimed by a team or the drop timer runs out.  \n  \nHow do you stop an unkillable robot I hear you ask? Very simply a grenade\, a disruption smoke(any colour bar red/orange)\, or if you’re brave enough press the reboot button located on the Atlas itself (the metal square located on its back). These methods should put the Atlas down long enough for a quick grab\, take too long and it will reboot. \n\nOh and don’t shoot them when they are moving to drop zones… No one Steals from Olympus and lives  \n  \nAtlas \nAtlas Cannot Be:\n\nEliminated via BB fire\nBlocked physically\n\nAtlas Can Be Disabled For:\n\n60 seconds (Phase 1)\n45 seconds (Phase 2)\n30 seconds (Phase 3)\n\nDisable Methods:\n\nGrenade within 5m\nDisruption smoke (any color except red/orange)\nPress (with an open and free hand) “Reboot Plate” on Atlas back \n\nIf shutdown successful: \n\nTeam may extract Drop token\nAtlas reactivates after timer\n\nATLAS CAN NOT be shutdown while moving to drop locations  \n  \nThe Spectacle    \nThe arena is declared\, each team is given a number of maps of the arena that have a grid system on them. During the game time The Announcer will radio give a number which is located on the maps but there will be multiple of that number and only one is the real drop point. Making the teams move fast\, and working together \n  \nThe Escalation \nOne thing that happened during the first games was the mob got bored of the standard of it all and Olympus knew it needed to do more with the drop\, so they decided to add phases during in which made the games more entertaining for those watching but more deadly for those involved \n  \nPhase I: Opening Broadcast\nFrequent Standard Drops: 15 minutes \nThe Announcer calls regular grid coordinates\, encouraging movement and map control \nAtlas shutdown window: 60 seconds \n  \nPhase II: Controlled Chaos\nResources grow scarcer: 20 minutes \nDrop frequency decreases\, but value increases. Rare Drops begin appearing in rotation. \nRadio “Blackout” periods Announcer will give coordinates once when opened and when timer has half remaining  \nAtlas shutdown window: 45 seconds \n  \nPhase III: Spectacle\nLegendary Drops enter the field. \nAnnouncer will give coordinates Multiple times and also answer requests for repeats  \nEvery grid call now pulls all factions toward collision.\nAtlas shutdown window: 30 seconds \n  \nPhase IV- The Sudden Drop\nIn the final moments of the event\, Olympus deploys one final Drop worth massive points. \nSingle location. Full announcement. \nMaximum conflict. \nAtlas shutdown window: 30 seconds \nThe Reward \nIf your team wins the Drop\, through teamwork\, skill and cunning. Then you may get a sponsor from the high table making your life a little better in 2042. \n  \nThe Teams\nDepending on the numbers that enter THE DROP\, will change the game play on the date.  \n  \n2 Teams (20–40 players) \n  \n3 Teams (30–60 players) \nDynamic alliances allowed (declared via ref\, 15 min max). \n  \n4 Teams (50–80 players) \nNo formal alliances. Dynamic alliances Allowed (declared via Marshal\, 15 min max) \n  \nALL NUMBERS OF TEAM. \nEach team must have: \n1 Squad Leader (radio mandatory\, will have radios for players) \n1 Atlas Interaction Operator (press reboot button) \n1–2 Medics (if using medic system) \nDynamic Alliance \nIf one team leads by 7+ DP: \nRemaining teams may temporarily: \nShare medics \nShare Drop extraction (they both gain the points for that item) \nBut must declare alliance via Marsal \nAlliance lasts 15 minutes max \n  \nAfter alliance expires: \nBetrayal allowed. \n  \nThings to know and think about \nYour team looks\, anything goes.. From the Southamerican cartels to Danish special forces\, the best look may get a little bonus to help in the drop.  \nWe have full catering on site. \nWe advise you bring plenty of water and rations to consume during game play as you will be out for up to 2 hrs – 3hrs at a time.
Please try to be as prepared as possible with the kit to save time in the morning. 8.00am ARRIVAL!! We close the gate at 9:00am for the safety brief starts are 9:10am \nBasic rules. \n‘Milsim Lite days at Gunman are suitable for all levels of airsoft player\, but are especially aimed at players who want slightly more realism than a skirmish game offers\, while still getting plenty of trigger time and a lunch break. \nThe games usually last for two hours at a time and will contain several objectives and a good amount of trigger time. \nBeing able to work in a team makes a big difference in these kinds of games and is often essential to complete objectives. \nYou may bring any realistic weapon including two-tone guns as long as they do not exceed the site power limits. \nMid-cap magazines are recommended\, but hi-caps are welcome within ammo limits.  Rentals are available.

DESCRIPTION:Mid-month – Operation: Dark Zone \nThe Division \nAfter the total collapse of New York during a Smallpox Pandemic named “Green Poison”\, a number of sleeper agents of the titular Homeland Security force known as ‘The Division’ were awoken to combat the chaos of a city on its knees. \nThe government forces of the JTF tried to contain the outbreak and the violence that then ensued from gangs and disenfranchised thugs inside the contaminated boundaries. \n  \nThe city fell. And the rest of the world followed.  \n  \nIn the past year a serious threat to national security has established itself\, a gang known as the ‘Hyenas’ – a group of opportunistic raiders that prey on struggling civilian encampments through violence and intimidation. These hedonistic scavengers take everything they can steal and destroy everything else to deprive their enemies of valuable resources. \nThe Hyenas are led by a council of the strongest pack leaders. \n  \nIt seems now that the violence has pushed out of the city and into the rural outskirts\, each group trying to survive the pandemic. \n  \nAfter the outcome of Division Ops: Supply\, both the JTF & Hyenas\, have got the supplies to push back into the Dark Zone \n \nThe very first extractions went without a hitch\, but soon greed got the better of some JTF and the Hyenas\, and soon going into the Dark Zone became dangerous as these deserters set up traps to claim gains from others’ hard work.  \n  \nThe Rikers seem to have made the most of a quiet dark zone as the JTF and Hyenas fought for influence and supplies so they could enter the Dark Zone\, The Rikers wearing impregnable armour and shields making mincemeat of those caught unaware\, but those that can take them down gain much reward from claiming their gear for their own.     \nJTF and Division. \nThe Joint Task Force is a coalition of the National Guard\, firefighters\, police officers\, civil volunteers\, and members of other civil services. They are all of what remains of their respective groups and work to stabilise the country. Although JTF soldiers were overworked and possessed meagre resources\, they still worked in tandem with The Division to restore order and stability in New York.  \nThe Division is a group of elite civilian sleeper agents who work for the U.S. Government. They are to be activated during a dire catastrophe or disaster and are the last line of defence when all else fails. Their goal is to save what remains of society and to ensure the continuity of government.  \nHyenas\nThese roaming scavengers are thieves and murderers\, who prey on the weak and incautious for resources\, and kill for kicks\, as well as destroying everything they can’t salvage to hobble their enemies. The Hyenas show a lack of free world discipline\, roaming around in groups. \nNPCs\nRikers\nRikers will be heavy targets carrying the most valuable loot\, their juggernauts can only be taken out by the most accurate of shots. This will be briefed on the day  \n  \nRikers will only be played by Gunman Marshals. \nObjective \nPrimary Objective \nSearch the site for loot crates and extract loot rucksack  \nSecondary Objective\nFind Division Tech.  \nRegen Clocks\nRegen clocks will be in each teams’ Regen point. \nYou may only Regen when the minute hand is in your team colour – DON’T SHOOT OUR CLOCKS \n  \nLoot\nLoot will be a simple A4 Laminated card with a picture on it and will have a value and type. \nYou can only take ONE loot card from a loot crate and can only carry one type of loot. \nYou can exchange ONE loot card at a crate\, for a higher value. \n  \n\n Division Tech \nDivision Tech will be a Simple A4 Laminated Card with a picture on it and will have a value\, the more the Division tech you have the more it is worth. \nYou can only hold one Division tech in your bag at a time  \n  \nDark Sync \nDark Sync will be a simple a4 Laminated card\, You must follow the rule written on the Dark Sync card. \nIf a Dark Sync is Extracted by your team it removes all your value you have Extracted so far. \n  \nExtraction\nSince communication to the outside is extremely limited\, to start an extraction teams must go to a designated extraction zone\, each team has the ability to call in a chopper lift and extract their loot from a fixed LZ after 1 hour (The Wall). A rope will be the chopper line and all they need to do is Karabiner their loot backpack to it until the clock stops (Mcom will be set up). Then the extraction is completed and they can BAG the loot.  \nThe Chopper call will be put over all radio channels. \n  \nRules of the Rucksacks.\nEach team will have a rucksack colour marked for their team. If the player carrying it is killed\, the rucksack MUST be left on the floor for other teammates to retrieve. \n\nYOU MUST NOT TAKE ANOTHER TEAM’S RUCKSACK. \nHowever\, you can loot the rucksack for ONE LOOT CARD.  \nYou can also remove another team’s bag of their extraction and replace it with your own.  \n  \nThings to know and think about \n\nWe will be giving a bonus to the player who most looks the part. \nWe have full catering on site. \nWe advise you bring plenty of water and rations to consume during gameplay as you will be out for up to 2hrs – 3hrs at a time.

SUMMARY:Eversley: Camp Alpha (Hampshire) - Filmsim Weekend
DESCRIPTION:DROP ZONE – Hunger games meets Battle Royal. \nThere will be a are ‘DROP ZONE’ where supplies and resources will get put into the game by the competition staff (Ref). It’s assumed everyone is wearing a collar and if you shoot the refs or break any of the game rules\, your head explodes and you have to go ‘THE DEAD ZONE’ where your body has been cloned (regen) and you get put back in the game. Some of these dead zones might be mobile;) \nOnce you have retrieved your teams ‘Weapons crate’ you can start to collect other items as they are dropped. \nEach game is around 2hrs long and there is an Ante for gathered resources at the end of it. You will gain points for getting items on your Ante and loose points for ones you didn’t get. The team with the most points wins. \nFor example\, Team Alpha must hand in 2 water and one food item. Team Bravo must hand in hand in 2 medic and one water and so on or everyone just needs to recover the same Ante to survive. \nYou can raid other teams stashes and steel their resources if you like but have only take one and exchange one.   Each team will have a regen dead pool that is separate from the Stash. \n  \nItems \nWater butts \nFood crates \nMedical boxes \nAmmo crate \nThink of it as a training exercise in teamwork\, managing equipment and communication. \nThen\, we just added the crazy game idea. \nThe teams will be separated and given different color armbands or bandannas to tell each other apart. We will run between 2-5 teams\, depending on numbers on the day. \n  \nThe first items in the field are the weapons crates and a team can’t touch another team’s weapons crate Marked by a colour label.  The drops come 20 minutes after the start of the game and then every 10 minutes until they are all gone and in the field. \nA horn will sound when a drop is being made and when it closes. \n  \nFilmSim days at Gunman are suitable for all levels of airsoft player but are especially aimed at players who want slightly more realism than a skirmish game offers\, while still getting plenty of trigger time and a lunch break. \n  \nThe games usually last for two hours at a time and will contain several objectives and a good amount of trigger time. \n  \nPlayers carry two bandages\, when you are shot a team-mate must get to you and apply one of your bandages to get you back in the game. When you run out of bandages you can return to the game by visiting a fixed HQ or a mobile field pack. \n  \nYou may only take a limited supply of ammunition LOADED IN MAGS with you\, but can reload at your HQ or mobile field pack if one is in game at any time. \n  \nBeing able to work in a team makes a big difference in these kind of games and is often essential to complete objectives. \n  \nYou may bring any realistic weapon including two-tone guns as long as they do not exceed the site power limits. \n  \nMid-cap magazines are recommended\, but hi-caps are welcome within ammo limits. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:The Line\nAlong a disputed stretch of land called the Line\, tension between two regional forces has quietly escalated into something harder to ignore. On one side\, North Ridge Unit\, a green-clad group operating out of the nearby hills and tree cover relies on careful planning\, local knowledge\, and old gear that’s been patched and repurposed more times than anyone can count. On the other side\, South Sector Patrol works the dry lowlands\, moving fast and light across open terrain\, hardened by exposure and long stints in the field. \nNeither side considers themselves the aggressor\, but both know the stakes. Resource crates dropped periodically by unknown actors have started appearing at key points along the Line. Each one contains something essential: food\, fuel\, water\, or maybe old tech. Fights break out over the drops. Sometimes it’s clean. Often\, it isn’t. Each team has dedicated haulers and mules tasked with collecting whatever they can. Ambushes and theft are expected. What matters is what you bring back. \nA third group\, unaffiliated\, moves through the area: the Merchants. They don’t carry weapons and don’t respond well to threats\, but they’ve got access to supplies if you’ve got the right leverage\, namely dog tags collected from the fallen.  \nThere are no great speeches or big flags out here. Just two teams doing what they have to\, in a place where every crate might mean the difference between winning and going home empty-handed. \n  \n \n \nGame Objective\nTeams must collect and secure at least one of each of the five resource types to qualify for a win. The team with the most complete sets of resources at the end of the game is declared the winner. Strategy\, coordination\, and timing are key; this is not just about firepower. \nTeams\n\n\nTwo Main Teams: \n\n\nNorth Ridge Unit (Green Team)\n\nSouth Sector Patrol (Tan Team)\n\n\n\n\nEach team will designate: \n\n\n2 Mules: \n\n\nMules are the only players permitted to physically carry and collect resource crates.\n\nThey can be targeted\, wounded\, and have resources stolen by opposing players.\n\nIf a mule is “killed\,” they must drop any carried resources and return to respawn.\n\n\n\n\n  \nResources\nThere are 5 types of resources: \n\nWater \n\nFuel \n\nFood\n\nTech\n\nAmmunition (Ammo)\n\n\n\nTeams must secure at least one of each to qualify for victory.\n\nResources are stored in crates located at drop points across the field.\n\nResources lock to a spawn clock—they are only collectable at specific time intervals.\n\n\n  \nDrop Points\n\nThere are 3 primary drop locations\, with the option to add additional drops containing fewer crates if needed.\n\nEach drop contains 3 crates\, with random or pre-assigned resources.\n\nResources unlock every 10 minutes\, marked by a central respawn/game clock.\n\nOptionally\, there can be “dead zones” during which no resources can be collected—used to increase tension and control pacing.\n\n\nTheft and Engagement\n\nThievery is allowed: players may steal resources from opposing mules by:\n \n\nEliminating them in play.\n\nLooting dropped crates or gear from downed mules.\n\n\n\nStealth\, ambushes\, and sabotage are all viable strategies.\n\n\n  \nMerchant Squad (Optional)\n\nMarshal-led neutral squad\, referred to as the Merchants.\n\nRoam the field unarmed and independent from either team.\n\nIf Merchants are within proximity of a drop point\, they can temporarily shut it down\, preventing collection until they move on.\n\nPlayers can approach unarmed\, presenting collected dog tags to purchase specific resources from the Merchants (if available).\n\n\nDogtags\n\nWhen a player is eliminated\, their dog tag (provided at start) can be taken by the opponent.\n\nDogtags serve two purposes:\n \n\nCurrency to trade with the Merchants.\n\nScoring Bonus—any unspent dog tags held at the end of the game may negate an opponent’s extra resource set\, potentially shifting victory.\n\n\n\n\nVictory Conditions\n\nA team must collect at least one of each resource type to qualify for victory.\n\nThe team with the most complete sets of resources at the end of the game wins.\n\nIn case of a tie\, the team with more dog tags may use them to negate opponent resources\, breaking the tie.

SUMMARY:GI Weekender 2025: pt1 - May Battlegrounds
DESCRIPTION:Please note that this game will be running at Gunman Airsoft’s Eversley Alpha site. \nWeekend tickets are £75 and include camping from Friday evening. \nLimited tickets are available\, book your place now with a £35 deposit below. \nDeposits are non-refundable and the balance of £40 is due on arrival. You may sell your space to another player if you are unable to attend after buying a ticket. \nBackground\nAs the battle continues across Europe\, new items of tech are being found from the early parts of the great war\, some of which could change the course for one of the factions. Resources are now running low and this endless fighting its taking its toll on weapons and equipment. \nThis battle sees the factions fighting over an abandon weapons factory whose vaults are still unbreeched. Its not known which faction once owned this complex\, but the treasures inside could be vital. \nBattlefield Europa is an endless battle of attrition\, supplies and control. Three factions battle is our over two days. Saturday has admin from 8am and briefings at 9.30 with game starting around 10.30 once everyone is deployed and finishing at 4pm. Then kick off Sunday at 9am\, finishing at 1pm. \nEach faction has as command HQ\, Command radios and a huge list of objectives. Check out the rules here \nThree teams battle for points and domination of the battlefield. \nThis is a unique objective-based style of game\, bringing together some of our favourite elements from online FPS multiplayer games and a combination of FilmSim and skirmish airsoft. \nWear whatever you like\, teams will be identified by prominent highlights of your team colour on your loadout. Be proud to represent your chosen faction and ensure that everyone on the battlefield knows who you are fighting for! \nThree playable classes are available to base your loadouts on. Each different class has different objectives which only they can complete – objectives can require more than one class to be present to complete\, encouraging players to work together. \nChange class at any point during the weekend by re-inserting at your HQ with your new loadout. \nMore information to follow. \n  \nIf you have a group of friends you wish to play with\, please get your tickets ordered early. Spaces can go very quickly for this event and we may be unable to move you onto a fully-booked team if you’ve left it too late. \n  \nSite will be open from 1pm Friday. \nWe have limited this to only 90 tickets\, 30 a side and there will be no more released. \n  \nRecon – Due to the undulating terrain at Eversley Alpha\, we wont be using Quad bikes or buggies.

DESCRIPTION:Border Conflict.\nThe remote region of Eversley sits as disputed territory between two long feuding neighbouring countries. Until recently the area was a quiet region dotted with small mining and forestry industries that would smuggle their goods across both borders for sale on the international markets. What Topographical and Geological knowledge there is of the region dates back to the 1950s when the borders were drawn up and the region largely left forgotten. \nRumours have spread of Rare Earth Minerals being detected in recent months and the attention of both countries now turns to settling the border\, and fate of the region once and for all. To this end\, both countries have employed the services of independent contractors to secretly survey and secure areas of the region rich in resources. \nThe two contractors; G.R.E.E.N (Global Resource Exploration and Extraction iNternational) and T.A.N. (Technology Appropriation Network) have both been tasked to \n– Infiltrate the Eversley region\n– Reconnoitre the locations of natural resources\n– Survey the locations that look promising for sampling\n– Secure any existing industrial capacity\n– Minimise news of their operations from leaving the region\, this includes negative interactions with locals. \nBoth contractors know that only one of them can come out on top by claiming the region for their employer\, and securing their share of the wealth of the region. \nThe Border Conflict is about to warm up…
