Background

As the battle continues across Europe, new items of tech are being found from the early parts of the great war, some of which could change the course for one of the factions. Resources are now running low and this endless fighting its taking its toll on weapons and equipment.

This battle sees the factions fighting over an abandon weapons factory whose vaults are still unbreeched. Its not known which faction once owned this complex, but the treasures inside could be vital.

Battlefield Europa is an endless battle of attrition, supplies and control. Three factions battle is our over two days. Saturday has admin from 8am and briefings at 9.30 with game starting around 10.30 once everyone is deployed and finishing at 4pm. Then kick off Sunday at 9am, finishing at 1pm.

Each faction has as command HQ, Command radios and a huge list of objectives. Check out the rules here

Three teams battle for points and domination of the battlefield.

This is a unique objective-based style of game, bringing together some of our favourite elements from online FPS multiplayer games and a combination of FilmSim and skirmish airsoft.

Wear whatever you like, teams will be identified by prominent highlights of your team colour on your loadout. Be proud to represent your chosen faction and ensure that everyone on the battlefield knows who you are fighting for!

Three playable classes are available to base your loadouts on. Each different class has different objectives which only they can complete – objectives can require more than one class to be present to complete, encouraging players to work together.

Change class at any point during the weekend by re-inserting at your HQ with your new loadout.

More information to follow.

If you have a group of friends you wish to play with, please get your tickets ordered early. Spaces can go very quickly for this event and we may be unable to move you onto a fully-booked team if you’ve left it too late.

Site will be open from 1pm Friday.

More Details

Want a quality weekend of airsoft and relaxing socials in the evening? This longstanding event is for you.

This is a narrative-driven airsoft event, with gameplay running all day Saturday followed by a couple of hours final push on Sunday morning.

In addition to the airsoft game, we have a relaxed social environment before, during, and after the shooting, so feel free to bring non-airsofters with you.

There is also a free car boot sale all day Friday.

CAMPING IS ALSO FREE for anyone who wants to join us for the weekend! We don’t care if they airsoft or not.

Guys travelling from abroad, if you need any proof of tickets purchased to help get your equipment across the pond, just email josh@gunmanairsoft.co.uk

Camping and parking is available at no charge. Non-players are welcome to join us in the camping/admin field all weekend at no additional cost.

Full facilities will be available from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunchtime.

Arrival Thursday night is fine, although it would be helpful if you let us know in advance so we can set you up in the right place.

Likewise, you are welcome to camp over on Sunday night and leave on Monday if you prefer.

We have a FREE CARBOOT sale all day Friday. Please ensure that all relevant laws are followed when selling your own stuff, especially regarding imitation firearms or age restricted items. If in doubt, check with us first please!

“Long-drop” composting toilets will be in use rather than the standard chemical-based loos.

We have minimal capacity to deal with rubbish. Please plan ahead to produce less waste, and take as much home to dispose of where possible.

A standpipe is available for drinking water. Bring large bottles or a jerrycan for your tent.

Limited mains power is available in the admin tent. We can charge airsoft batteries and lend a couple of sockets for mobile charging etc, but please allow plenty of time in case everyone else has the same idea at once.

We will once again have a licensed bar in the camping/admin area with ice-cold lager and cider (possibly fruity!) on draft for Friday and Saturday evenings.

We may also open it on Saturday afternoon if sufficient non-players want to use it.

We have our own ice-cold draft system, so you won’t pay “festival” prices for pints!

Proof of age may be requested.

Soft drinks and confectionery will also be available.

You are welcome to bring “sensible” quantities of your own alcohol to consume in moderation around the camping area. Keep the noise down, don’t get wrecked, look after everyone else, and tidy up after yourselves is all we ask.

There will be limited catering available. You are welcome to bring your own food to the event.

BBQs are also welcome in the campsite but must be kept off the ground. We have minimal rubbish disposal available, and nowhere for hot ashes/coals.

Please try and take as much of your waste home with you.

We will be using some licensed two-way radio frequencies for both platoon-level in-game comms as well as for safety channels.

You are welcome to use your own two-way radios for section-level comms, however you MUST check with us before use, to ensure that you will not interfere with event comms.

PMR446 license-free radios are perfect for this role, we do not restrict their use anywhere on site. You are free to use these as you wish without asking us first.

Please do not eavesdrop on the other teams’ command frequencies – we do not encrypt these transmissions to ensure compatibility, however we expect players to “pretend” encryption is in use and not monitor command channels for intel unless you have been specifically instructed to do so.

Two-way radios operating outside of the 446 MHz band MUST be co-ordinated with us prior to being used at the event.

Small drones may be in operation during the weekend. We need to ensure that their use is safe, legal, and fair, so please do not just turn up and launch one without speaking to us first. We don’t want a swarm of random drones crashing into people – you MUST be licensed, insured, AND be cleared and briefed by us BEFORE use.

We expect everyone at our events to behave in a considerate and respectful manner to those around them before, during, and after attendance.

Personal recording devices may be used while at the event, provided the footage is used in a respectful and considerate manner.

Following several instances of “unpleasant” and upsetting footage from weapon or scope mounted cameras being posted online without the subjects’ consent, their use is currently not permitted at our events.

If you record other audio footage, or still or moving pictures for your personal use at home (to analyse your gameplay etc) that’s fine. Published footage of other people attending our events (on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc) is not covered by the “personal use” exemption under UK privacy law and is subject to the GDPR.

Think before you share.

Please don’t post potentially embarassing or exposing footage of anyone else online unless you’ve OK’d it with them first.

In short, be kind and respectful at all times. We’re a bunch of wallies playing pew-pew in the woods as part of a relatively small hobby group. Look after each other and make sure everyone goes home after a great weekend!
